Q - Are these just digitally manipulated photographs?
A – No. These are all original illustrations that are inspired by actually locations along the Rocky Mountains.
Q - What are the shipping costs?
A – If you’re shipping anywhere within the United States, the shipping costs are included in the price. If you’re shipping outside of the United States, you will be notified of the shipping costs via email BEFORE any items are printed. NOTE: If you’re shipping outside of the United States, we recommend you purchase the “prints” only as these are MUCH LESS expensive to ship outside of the U.S.
Q – How are items shipped?
A – Within the United States, either UPS or FedEx are the typical shippers utilized (depending on the destination and size). Outside of the United States, shippers used are solely dependent on the destination.
Q – What’s the standard lead time?
A – Within the United States, it takes 7-10 business days for illustrations to be printed and shipped. At that point it can take up to 3 more days for shipments to arrive. Shipments outside of the United States are much less predictable depending on their destination. This is why you should contact me via email so we can ensure we get correct information back to you.
Q – Are framed illustrations shipped with glass?
A – No. All framed illustrations are shipped with clear acrylic, which is half the weight of traditional glass, just as clear, provides ultraviolet protection, and is considerably less susceptible to breakage.
Q - What if my illustration is delivered in damaged condition?
A – Contact the shipping company IMMEDIATELY and report the damage – include pictures of the damage. Also send an email to me, explaining the situation. Once a formal “claim” is submitted to the shipper by you, they will negotiate with us to get a replacement out to you.
Q – What if I want an image larger than 24”x 36”?
A – This is certainly achievable, but the cost can vary greatly depending on the actual size and desired shipping destination. Larger framed images will be provided in metal frames rather than solid wood (less susceptible to breakage during shipment). Simply contact me via email link at the bottom of the page with your desired size and destination.
Q – Are there discounts for purchasing larger quantities?
A – Of course! Contact me via the email link at the bottom, explaining how many of which illustrations you want, and I’ll get back to you within 48 hours with your discount and lead time.
Q – Why do the illustrations on your purchase page have a watermark, but other pages don’t?
A – The images on the purchase page are at 300dpi so you can zoom in and see all the details before you buy, whereas images on all other pages are of fairly low quality. The watermark discourages people from attempting to copy the high quality image on the purchase page for the purpose of printing it on their own. |
